IOP for Teens and Children: Why Choose Us?

At Bloomington Meadows Hospital, we have decades of experience caring for youth with mental and behavioral health issues. Therapists teach coping skills, healthier decision-making and other strategies for personal growth. Parents and kids see real results and a brighter future for the entire family.

Highlights of our outpatient treatment program include:

  • Continuum of care: Many young people “step down” to our IOP after inpatient treatment. This level of care eases their transition back into daily life and provides the intensive structure they need for continued healing. An IOP can also be an alternative to residential treatment, allowing children to stay with their families as they recover.
  • In-person and virtual IOP: Children and adolescents can attend our IOP in person or through convenient virtual sessions. Online group therapy makes it easy for families across Indiana and beyond to get the help they need without the stress of traveling.
  • Collaboration with families and schools: We work closely with loved ones, caregivers and school staff to ensure children have strong support systems. Therapists and case managers offer comprehensive discharge planning to set your child up for success after outpatient treatment.
