Outpatient Mental Health Treatment: Why Choose Us?
For more than 30 years, we’ve been helping people across Indiana and the surrounding areas build brighter futures. Our staff draws on many evidence-based therapies to help adults, adolescents and children learn coping skills and manage stress.
Highlights of our outpatient services include:
- No-cost assessments: We are available 24/7, with or without an appointment, to provide no-cost assessments, insurance verification and admissions. If you’re not ready to meet in person, call 800-972-4410 or contact us to learn how we can help.
- Convenient virtual options: We understand that busy schedules and transportation challenges can make it hard to prioritize your mental health. Our virtual IOP lets you participate in group therapy via video visits, so it’s easier to get the treatment you need.
- Dedicated staff: Our staff includes a psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, case manager and therapists. They put your needs first and are passionate about helping you grow and thrive throughout treatment and beyond.
- Accredited program: We are accredited by The Joint Commission, the gold seal of approval for healthcare organizations that meet rigorous safety and quality standards. We voluntarily seek this accreditation to maintain the integrity of the care we provide.
What Is an Intensive Outpatient Program?
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is for people who don’t need 24/7 inpatient care. It typically takes place three days a week, three hours a day. At Bloomington Meadows, we offer both outpatient and inpatient treatment, so you can transition between levels of care while staying in a consistent, familiar environment.
An IOP offers many benefits, including:
- More structured treatment schedule than weekly outpatient therapy provides
- Ability to “step down” from inpatient treatment and ease the transition back to daily life
- Flexibility to attend to work and family responsibilities
Individualized Care for Mental Health Conditions
Mental health issues can take many forms and affect everyone differently. Whether you’re dealing with relationship issues, work stress or a traumatic experience, we design a treatment plan tailored to your environment, history and symptoms.
We treat:
- Adjustment disorder
- Anxiety
- Bipolar disorder
- Depression
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Schizophrenia
- Self-harm or suicidal ideation
